Teaching Staff Qualifications & Experience

The following are the essential qualifications and experience required for teaching staff positions at our institution as per regulatory guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognised under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970
  • A Post-graduate qualification in the subject or speciality concerned included in the Schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970

Experience Requirements

Professor

  • Ten years teaching experience in concerned subject
  • OR
  • Five years teaching experience as Associate Professor (Reader) in concerned subject
  • OR
  • Ten years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions with minimum five papers published in a recognised journal

Reader / Associate Professor

  • Five years teaching experience in concerned subject
  • OR
  • Five years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions with minimum three papers published in a recognised journal

Assistant Professor / Lecturer

  • The age shall not exceed forty-five years at the time of first appointment
  • It may be relaxed for in-service candidates as per the existing rules
Important Note

Priority shall be given to the candidates having Doctoral in Ayurveda.

Information Technology Cell including Digital Library

Administrative Section

4 Personal Assistant or Personal Secretary to Principal Graduation with secretarial training
5 Office Superintendent Graduation with five years of administrative experience
6 Clerical Staff Graduation with computer knowledge
7 Accountants Bachelor of Commerce or Master of Commerce with computer knowledge
8 Multi-tasking Staff As per institutional requirements
Central Library

9 Librarian Master of Library and Information Science or Bachelor of Library and Information Science with five years of Library experience
10 Assistant Librarian Bachelor of Library and Information Science
11 Library Attendant Minimum 10th standard pass
12 Multi-tasking Staff As per institutional requirements
Important Note

Services of electrician, plumber, gardener, attendant or peon, maintenance staff, Multi-tasking staff and the like may be obtained by outsourcing as per institutional requirements and regulations.
